1. Order Cancellation Policy

1.1 Buyer-Initiated Cancellation

  • Buyers may request order cancellations within 24 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not yet been processed for shipment.

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email warehousesupport@ismart.today with the subject line "Order Cancellation Request โ€“ [Order Number]."

  • SMTC Trading reserves the right to reject cancellation requests if the order has already been processed or shipped.

1.2 Seller-Initiated Cancellation

  • SMTC Trading may cancel an order due to:

    • Unavailability of stock.

    • Pricing errors or discrepancies.

    • Failure to meet payment obligations.

    • Suspicion of fraudulent activity.

  • Affected buyers will be notified via email and offered a full refund or alternative product options.

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • The product delivered is damaged, defective, or does not match the agreed specifications.

  • The order was cancelled before shipment (as per Section 1.1).

  • Delays in shipment beyond the agreed timeframe, if caused by SMTC Trading.

2.2 Non-Refundable Situations

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Orders cancelled after the 24-hour window (unless due to seller fault).

  • Changes in market prices after order confirmation.

  • Buyerโ€™s failure to comply with payment terms.

  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.).

2.3 Refund Process

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days via the original payment method.

  • For bank transfers, processing times may vary based on the financial institution.

  • Refund requests must include:

    • Order number.

    • Proof of defect/damage (if applicable).

    • Bank details (if the original payment method is unavailable).

3. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes regarding cancellations or refunds should be escalated to warehousesupport@ismart.today.

  • SMTC Trading will attempt to resolve disputes amicably within 14 business days.

  • If unresolved, disputes may be referred to arbitration as per the terms of the contract.

4. Policy Amendments

  • SMTC Trading reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or website updates.
